Maintaining a Modern Fleet
Betts Transport is comprised of modern, well-maintained trucks and rigorously cleaned trailers, designed with aluminium crates for the livestock we carry. We take pride in the trucks we use, which is why we employ a dedicated mechanical team to take care of them.
We use the latest technology to ensure the utmost safety for both our team and your stock. Our fleet is equipped with Teletrac Navman, which ensures our drivers are using safe and compliant driving practices and maximising efficiency.
Our Experienced Staff
Betts Transport’s experienced and fully qualified staff employ the latest humane animal handling techniques that reduce stock stress during loading, transit and unloading.
We have stockmen at Dubbo, Moree, Narrabri, Gunnedah, Inverell, Tamworth, Walcha, Roma and Dalby sale centres. From the moment livestock are purchased, our client’s livestock are in our care and the stockmen can check the livestock for fitness for travel. Stockmen can also arrange the feeding and watering of livestock as required and if possible, livestock can be moved to a shaded dirt yard until it is time for trucking.
Your Stock's Condition is Our Priority
We take very seriously the care of your livestock and are acutely aware of how important it is to have our trucks meticulously maintained to ensure reliability. Our drivers are specifically trained in livestock handling to ensure livestock are delivered with minimal disturbance to their well-being, reducing common transport issues such as stress and shrinkage.
We use the latest crates designed with animal welfare in mind that are non-bruise, have excellent airflow for hot weather and are fitted with effluent tanks. Over long-distance travel we have a number of spelling facilities available to us that can be arranged with water and feed as required.
